About Me: 
Born in 1952 to a Mississippi Delta farmer. Graduated cum laude, 1969. Have been on a spiritual and education quest to understand life and why we are here for the last 30+ years which has taken me down many paths and through many experiences -- that thankfully translates into helping others. 
Award winning author of Make a Joyful Noise: Searching for a Spiritual Path in a Material World, Make a Joyful Noise Study Guide, and Chakra Basics: Fundamentals of Spiritual Growth.
Earthy, happy woman who shoots NERF bullets straight from the hip. Mother of two grown and gone children, Genevieve and Kriston, and three grandsons -- James, Jonathon, and Jacob -- all living in Asheville, NC.
Chariss is currently living in Amarillo, TX with her adopted granddaughter, Vivien.

What I have to say about ... well, life!

Chariss K Walker, author/writer/speaker, says that each step she has taken has brought her to this very moment in time. Nothing is wasted. It is entirely up to us whether we suffer through an event  or work through it, whether we profit from an occurrence or let it defeat us. Each step makes us who we are today. Reconciliation and understanding the steps of our life is critical to bring us to a place of declaring -- "Its perfect and I wouldn't change a thing!!"
